RuneScape Rolls Out Its New Fort Forinthry Questline And Construction Skill
Now that the brave warriors of Gielinor have defeated Zamorak, the God of Chaos, it’s time to establish a forward base to help take the land back from his forces. RuneScape’s new Fort Forinthry – New Foundations questline sends players into the Wilderness to build their very own forts using the new Construction skill.
“The Wilderness: a hive of Zamorakian cultists, deadly monsters and terrifying natural disasters. Ever since Zamorak decimated the area its only inhabitants have been deranged and the damned. But with the banishment of the gods, it's time to take it back for the people!”
“Make your mark on the Wilderness and establish a strategic outpost using the all-new Construction skilling method,” announced Jagex. “You’ll be able to upgrade your base of operations and in future updates add new and exciting buildings to bolster the fort – and prepare its inhabitants for the fight against the forces of chaos!”
Inside their forts, players will be able to build various structures with different effects like a command center, workshop, and a chapel, among other structures. Each building offers a different buff and can be upgraded up to three times to boost their benefits.
Players can also look forward to another double XP event which kicks off on February 17th along with a whole host of gameplay changes and engine optimizations. The latest patch notes can be found on the RuneScape official site.
