RIFT Celebrates 11th Anniversary With The Budgie Carnival Celebration Update
RIFT’s 11th anniversary with the Budgie Carnival Celebration update which kicks off a pair of in-game events and adds new spring-themed items, all of which are now live in the free-to-play MMORPG.
The Budgie Madness event features the return of the adorable bird-like Budgie mounts which can be acquired by trading in Chaos Motes collected during the two-week event. They can also be exchanged for wardrobe skins, pets, Dimension items, and more. Players can earn Chaos Motes by completing daily quests that can be picked-up in the main cities of Sanctum, Meridian, or Tempest Bay and from an NPC named Frank Stroher.
The month-long Carnival Event is also underway featuring festive decorations in all major cities, seasonal quests, mini-games, and rewards to celebrate RIFT’s 11th birthday. Loot bags, mounts, and other special prizes are up for grabs throughout the duration of the event.
The team is also celebrating the arrival of spring with a whole host of spring-themed items, including Bunny Ears and a potion that can transform a player into a cute bunny when used.
