Perfect World International Heads To Mobile

Perfect World International, the free-to-play MMORPG steeped in Chinese mythology, is headed to mobile devices after being shown off at Tokyo Game Show 2016.

The game is still early in development, though complete enough to reveal a playable demo. It appears to be a direct port of the PC version to iOS and Android, featuring housing, large zones, and flying.

Perfect World International recently celebrated its 8 year anniversary; it's a bit surprising to see a mobile port for an 8-year-old game. But, it must be performing well enough in its home turf and Japan to establish itself on mobile, though the market is becoming increasingly competitive.

Perfect World Mobile should release Q4 2017. No word on whether the game will see an English release.
