Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen Expands Its Testing Pool And Switches To Seasonal Releases
Visionary Realms is expanding its Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen testing pool and starting with this month’s alpha test. A bigger testing pool means that the developers will be able to gather more and data on a larger scale. The next alpha test will also mark the studio’s shift to seasonal content updates every six weeks.
“Every six weeks a new season is introduced that contains a significant content update for our pledges to test out,” explains Visionary Realms. “Prior to this, only high-tier pledges had regular access to the game. With this new approach, all pledges can access the game during development, no matter what tier of pledge.”
The first seasonal content update, dubbed Chapter 1, Season 1: Into the , will go live on February 17 and will focus on the Avendyr’s zone which will come with its own quests, mobs, points-of-interest, and craftables. An early version of the Shaman’s wolf pet will also be available for testing. Season 1 will end on March 30, marking the start of Chapter 1 Season 2 alongside more updates to Avendyr’s .
Visionary Realms will give $50 pledge-tier backers a chance to check out everything that’s new every season during regularly scheduled sessions. er-tier backers will get one week of access per season, while Champion-tier backers will get two weeks of access. VIP-tier backers, of course, will get full unrestricted access to each and every season.
“This allows thousands of pledges into the game while development continues, and gives them a front-row seat to the expanding world,” says the devs.
The world of #PantheonMMO will welcome all pledges February 17th. 🌌
