Palia Kicks Off Its First Winterlights Festival As Part 1 Of Its December Update Goes Live

Winter has officially begun in Palia as the cozy sandbox MMO kicks off its first Winterlights Festival. The holiday event mainly takes place in Kilima Village but players will also find festive treasure chests scattered around the game world.

“You are just in time for the special Winterlights celebration taking place in Kilima Village,” Singularity 6 announced. “Everyone is invited, and we are happy to introduce the first half of the holiday content prepared for all Palians to enjoy. That’s right: expect two patches full of holiday cheer to enjoy as we round out the rest of the year.”

The event also brings the Winterlights questline that will reward players with holiday-themed house decorations and recipes. The holiday update’s release also marks the opening of the new Asia Pacific servers, which should significantly reduce latency for players in the region.

Players can look forward to part two of the holiday update later this month and the game’s launch on Nintendo Switch on December 14th.

Event details can be found in the patch notes on the Palia official site.
