Palia Adds A Huge Collection Of New Steampunk, Gourmet, And Nautical Decorations
Palia player can now give their virtual homes a cozy workshop-y feel with the addition of the new PalTech housing decorations for the MMO life sim. Nearly all of the new steampunk-themed recipes can be unlocked through Furniture Making, except for the PalTech Range Hood, PalTech Glove, and PalTech Microscope recipes which can be purchased from “a certain someone found underground.”
Several PalTech decorations will also be available for direct purchase on a rotating basis. It’s a good way to acquire decorations that you’ve been dying to craft but can’t seem to unlock the recipe for. Developer Singularity 6, however, notes that buying them will just give you the items themselves and won’t unlock their respective recipes.
If hosting fancy dinners is your thing, the studio also added a whole host of new gourmet items including gourmet plates, bowls, and cutleries. As with the Steampunk collection, most of the items can be unlocked with Inspiration (note the capitalization), except for the Gourmet Dessert Plate, Gourmet Cup, Gourmet Knife recipes which can be purchased from Reth’s located at the Ormuu’s Horn Inn.
But wait, there’s more! You’ll also be able to salvage nautical-themed decorations from the newly added Rummage Piles in Bahari Bay, purchase the Pavilion building add-on from City Hall, and take your pick from a dozen new wallpapers at Tish’s Store.
The latest game update also added a portal to Bahari Bay from your plot and made resource nodes shareable. Details can be found in the full patch notes on the Palia official website.
