Palia Opens The Doors To The Maji Night Market After A Short Delay

After a slight delay, Palia’s first-month long event, the Maji Market, is now live and open for business. As previously revealed, the titular market will only be open when it’s nighttime in the game. The event will run from now until September 26th while the market itself will be open from 6 p.m. – 3 a.m. Palia time.

“Every evening at the Kiima Village Fairgrounds, the Maji Market twinkles with the promise of food, fun, and friendship. Watch the fireworks, try the treats, and earn tickets at mini-games like the Chapaa Chase (only once per night after the fireworks show!). And all along the way you’ll be filling out your stamp card to trade in for over 50 rewards and prizes, including dozens of new decor items.”

The latest game update also introduced new quests and decorative items, several crafting adjustments, and the ability for characters to sit.

Developer Singularity 6 followed up the Maji Market update’s launch with an AMA session on Reddit where they talked about character customization options, name changes, the gold cap, increased structure limits, new crops, new materials, multiplayer content, and much more. They also teased more MMO systems, the ability to have multiple houses in one plot, and the new Elderwood zone.

“The Elderwoods are located on the outskirts of Kilima. It is a magical forest filled with Flow and Flow-infused flora and fauna,” the devs revealed. “As such, it is a mysterious place that is of interest to a lot of our villagers. In of actually getting to visit the Elderwood – while we are certainly planning on releasing new zones, we aren’t prepared to announce what they are just yet.”
