Overwatch 2 Shakes Up The Season 2 Meta With A Big Balance

The competitive scene in Overwatch 2 is heating up with Season 2 now well underway which Blizzard felt was the right time to throw a wrench into the current meta. Instead of waiting for the next big update, the developers have decided to roll out a balance patch that saw several heroes get either nerfed or buffed.

Heroes that were buffed in the latest patch included Ramattra, Orisa, and Anna while those that were nerfed included Doomfist, Kiriko, and Tracer. Sojourn also received a balance patch which included a mix of both buffs and nerfs for his skills.

Season 2 officially kicked off last week featuring the debut of the form-shifting “tempo tank” Ramattra as the hero shooter’s newest playable character in addition to the new Shambali Monastery map, and a new battle . The Winter Wonderland holiday event is also in full swing with the Battle for Olympus and Lunar New Year already lined up to start next month.
