Blade is making an entrance in Marvel Heroes right in time for Halloween. He is voiced by Dave Fennoy—possibly best known as the voice of Lee Everett in Telltale's The Walking Dead—and "dressed in attire inspired by amazing comic covers designed by Marko Djurdjevic for Blade’s 2006 series." According to Gazillion employee Anthony Gallegos, "what makes him special are his flare and his vampiric powers. [...] Blade oozes style with his moves, a sort of confidence in his power that only further expresses his ferocity." He has officially taken his place as Marvel Heroes' 52nd playable character and can be played now.

Additionally, Marvel Heroes will be receiving the "infinitely replayable" Danger Room next month. It will be an "all-new experience" made for players level 60 and up. Each scenario played through will be a randomly generated dungeon with "affixes that alter the gameplay experience." The example of these affixes given is the inability to use medkits in exchange for reduced cooldowns on all powers.
