MapleStory 2’s Chinese Version Prepares To Shut Its Doors In November

Unfortunately for Nexon expires.

In preparation for the game’s closure, new-player registrations and currency sales have been disabled as of yesterday while the Chinese forums and customer will remain operational up until November 7^th. Any unused currency will have already been converted to a corresponding compensation package that players will be able to use until the servers inevitably go dark.

With the MapleStory 2’s Chinese version shutting down, the only remaining fully-operational version of the game is the original Korean release, but even that has apparently been relegated to maintenance mode.
