It’s Pumpkin Smashing Time In TERA As Gourdo Returns For This Year’s Halloween Festivities

TERA. Gourdo has come back to town for some trick-or-treating fun. The pumpkin-headed monster will be appearing in major cities and villages (except Velika and Exodor) as part of the annual Halloween celebrations which will run from today until November 5th.

“During the event, Gourdo will appear on weekdays from 4 p.m. PDT until 9 p.m. PDT, and from noon to midnight on Saturdays and Sundays.

Once you spot him, it’s “smashing pumpkins” time! If your group takes him out, you’ll receive lots of awesome consumables, possibly including Squash Pie, Halloween-themed footsteps, or up to five Gourdo’s Moongourds!”

Easy right? Not quite. There will also be fake Gourdos spawning alongside the real one. “These phony pumpkinheads are invulnerable, and so no matter how much you beat them, they’ll never fall…and never drop any rewards,” explains En Masse Entertainment. “So even if you can take out a true Gourdo all by yourself, wailing on a Fake Gourdo will only make it angry.”

Collect 100 Moongourds and combine it with the Gourdo’s Campfire event item to cook up a special Halloween Moongourd Pie which contains a variety of rare and exclusive rewards including Autumn-themed Foosteps, a Moon Pet, Legacy Essences, Skill Advancement Scrolls, and more. Players will receive one Gourdo’s Campfire for each day of the event. Additional campfires can be purchased from the cash shop.
