Gigantic Officially Comes Back To Life On PC And Consoles As Gigantic: Rampage Edition
Gigantic has officially come back to life as Gigantic: Rampage Edition, Abstraction Games’ buy-to-play version of the third-person MOBA, launches on PC and consoles. The relaunch version not only comes with a $19.99 price tag, but it also features new maps, heroes, a new game mode, and various improvements over the original game with absolutely no microtransactions.
The original roster of heroes have all made a comeback along with two new additions: Kajir. Previously unreleased skins have also been thrown into the mix along with an updated Fortune Card system, custom loadouts, and the new Rush mode which promises faster matches in smaller maps with fewer objectives to complete.
Abstraction also made various tweaks to several heroes, reduced the stamina cost for jumping attacks, and fixed a long list of bugs. There are, however, a couple of issues that have yet to be addressed, including a custom match bug and a “waiting for unknown match” message while waiting in queue.
Gigantic: Rampage Edition is now available on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Arc Games launcher, as well as on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. You can pick up a copy on your preferred platform at 20% off until April 16, although PlayStation s will need to have an active PlayStation Plus subscription to be eligible for the discount.
