Fractured Online Grants Unlimited Respecs And Boosts Solo Rewards Ahead Of Free Weekend
Dynamight Studios is paving the way for Fractured Online’s free weekend event with a few gameplay tweaks to help free trial players make the most of their time in the game. The changes are also aimed at existing players as most of them will remain in place after the free-play event, particularly those related to solo play rewards.
The 24-hour character respec timer has been lifted for a whole week, granting players virtually unlimited chances to test out other builds or refine their existing ones. Orb drop rate for Challenge Rating 7-9 mobs has also been significantly increased and Divine Rewards now drop from Wandering Legends to make the open-world sandbox MMORPG more solo-friendly after favoring group content with the recently released Endgame Changer update.
Dynamight also notes several restrictions imposed on free trial s. While they’ll be able to claim plots of land, they won’t be able to pay for them which means that they’ll eventually expire. They won’t be able to or create settler groups but will be able to player cities. Free trial players, however, won’t count towards the minimum number of players needed to prevent a city from deranking.
“The same system will be extended to all refunded s and land parcels owned by refunded s. Properly fixing the latter for refunded s will be done in a future patch, since it requires another couple steps,” says the devs.
Also, players who purchased the game through Steam will no longer be able to using the standalone client starting today.
