EverQuest 2 Closes Out Its Summer Event Series With Its Annual Oceansfull Festival
EverQuest 2 has kicked off the final leg of its Summer Jubilee event series with the return of the Oceansfull Festival. This year’s event features several tweaks to the usual array of activities with new and returning rewards awaiting those who participate in the festivities.
“Ahoy, Norrathians! As summer winds down, the festivities are only getting bigger and better. And we did not hold back for Oceansfull Festival. It’s that time of the year to raise a toast to celebrate Ocean Lord, Prexus, for all he does both above and below the surface.”
Players can expect a new quest in the form of the Salt Encrusted Treasure Hunt which can be obtained from the clam shell minigame. Twelve new reward items have also been added to the said game for a grand total of 33 item rewards. Those who’ve yet to reach level 119 can take on a level-scaling version of the Awuidor: Trench of Terrors dungeon and the Terrors Run Deep quest has been tweaked to allow all characters regardless of level to undertake the adventure quest.
The Oceansfull Festival is also the last chance for players to earn a plume for their event inventory slots. The event is now live on both the regular and time-limited servers until August 23rd, with a handful of quests removed from the latter. Event vendors will remain in the game until August 31st.
