C Games Partners With Titan Forge For EVE Online Tabletop Game

C Games has partnered with RPG miniature manufacturer Titan Forge to bring EVE Online to your tabletops as a board game imaginatively called EVE Online: The Board Game.

Like EVE Online, the tabletop game will be set in New Eden and hopes to capture the essence of the sci-fi sandbox MMORPG in a cosmic chess game where players can engage in diplomacy and deception as they battle for control of the galaxy. It will also feature elements from the online game including exploration, mining, logistics, and piracy.

“With its player-driven gameplay and complex virtual economy, EVE Online lends itself organically to a compelling board game experience,” said Grant Tasker, Brand Director for C Games. “As we celebrate two decades of EVE Online, Titan Forge understands New Eden’s enduring legacy and is equipped to bring our iconic spaceship MMO to a different medium while maintaining its signature elements.”

C Games is planning to launch a Kickstarter campaign this fall to help raise funds for the tabletop game.
