Epic Games And Apple CEO’s And Other Execs To Testify At Next Month’s Anti-Trust Trial

Epic Games and Apple have submitted their preliminary witness lists in preparation for the start of the federal anti-trust trial next month. Witnesses include executives from both companies, including Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney and Apple CEO Tim Cook, along with executives from Microsoft, Nvidia, Facebook, and Match Group.

According to GamesIndustry.biz, Cook will be taking the stand for two hours while the court questions him about Apple’s corporate values and their app store competitors. Sweeney, on the other hand, could end up spending up to eight hours testifying on Epic’s company history, business model, their relationship with Samsung, as well as their previous dialogs with Apple and Google.

Several other Apple and Epic executives have also been selected to testify during the trial which is expected to run for three weeks. The first trial date is set for May 3rd.
