Elite Dangerous Odyssey Gameplay Trailer Revealed At The Game Awards 2020

Elite Dangerous Odyssey expansion during last night’s The Game Awards. The expansion will allow players to explore distant planets on foot for the very first time since the game first launched nearly six years ago.

The expansion will also come with new ground missions that will have players engaging in tactical combat that ties-in seamlessly with the game’s iconic cockpit experience. Players will also be able to customize their characters with a variety of space suits and gear and will be able to hang out with other players in several social hubs scattered across the galaxy. These hubs will also provide players with a location where they can upgrade their gear, form alliances, or simply chat with other Commanders.

Odyssey is scheduled to arrive on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 sometime next year. Pre-orders are now open on Steam, Epic Games Store, and Frontier’s storefront. The basic package is priced at $39.99 while the Deluxe Alpha Pack will set you back $54.99.
