Eden Eternal’s Relaunch In A Nutshell And The New Sage Class
Back in May, Gamigo shut down the classic free-to-play MMORPG in 2021. The relaunched version features various class balance adjustments and other improvements based on player as well as cross-server PvP battles which weren’t available in the original game.
X-Legend kicked off a pre-registration campaign a few months before the re-launch with an exclusive mount and an NFT Alpaca as rewards for completing various pre-registration tasks. The NFT was offered outside of the game so as not to violate Steam’s anti-NFT policies, which unfortunately didn’t work and resulted in the Steam version being delayed by nearly a week.
The Steam version managed to log a peak daily concurrency of 661 players on launch day, which isn’t bad compared to other relaunched games on the platform. Peak concurrency currently averages at around 220 players, a significant drop from launch day but still a healthy number all things considered.
X-Legend isn’t content to leave the game as it is though as they’ve added a brand-new class earlier this week in the form of the hammer-wielding, light-infused Sage class. The update also kicked off a treasure hunting event, added new cash shop items, and introduced rewards for players who manage to rack up 66 hours of game time.
