Duelyst Enters Open Beta

Counterplay Games' beautiful tactical strategy game Duelyst has entered Open Beta as of yesterday. The Open Beta follows a Closed Beta period that has gone on for several months. Before that, the game was funded by a Kickstarter campaign to the tune of $137,000. The full release is planned to occur in 2016 with a release on Steam, as well as in-browser.

As of open beta, players can pick from six factions that each have their own unique minions, abilities, and play styles. Over 350 battle units and spells can be created. A "rich dynamic storyline" ties it all together.
