Blizzard Merges Multiple Diablo Immortal Servers In NA, EU, And Asia
As announced late last month, Blizzard has merged several Diablo Immortal servers to maintain a healthy population and make it easier for players to group up. The servers have been merged into groups of four which will allow players to logon to their original servers while being able to form parties with players from the other servers in the group.
Note that while you’ll get to keep pretty much everything from before the merge, you might find that one or more of your character names have been taken by another player. In case that happens, you’ll have access to a free character name change as well as a free character transfer token. Subsequent transfers will set you back $15 a pop.
“This change is being made so players will have an easier time finding other players to party up with regardless of the server they play on,” Blizzard explained. “We will continue to monitor player populations on all servers and merge additional servers as needed.”
