Destiny 2 Outlines Newly-Added Weapons And New Features Coming In Season 23
The latest Destiny 2 weekly newsletter dives into all of the shiny new things that have been added to the MMO first-person shooter this season and have yet to be added next season.
For the current season, Season of the Witch, players can now earn a new legendary night bow by completing this week’s Nightfall missions. Bungie will also be adding a new legendary grenade this weekend along with a new Exotic Mission rotator that will feature craftable versions of the Dead Man’s Tale scout rifle, Dead Messenger grenade launcher, and the Revision Zero pulse rifle. PvP players can also expect adjustments to damage bonuses and penalties for multiple weapon classes and named weapons in Checkmate mode.
Next season, Bungie plans to introduce the Banshee-44 gunsmith’s existing weapon selection with new ones from four different manufacturers from Season 16 through Season 19, with manufacturers rotating every four days. Players will also be able to craft some of these weapons using gunsmith focusing at the cost of 5,000 Glimmer and three gunsmith engrams. Engrams can be looted from open world chests, earned by completing lost sectors, or progressing through gunsmith ranks.
