Dauntless Kicks Off Holiday Celebrations With The Return Of Its Frostfall Event
Holiday celebrations are now in full swing in the Shattered Isles as Dauntless kicks off its annual Frostfall event. This year’s event will come with a special treat for players in the form of a unique silver sword. But, you’ll have to work for it first.
“Legend has it that Linnea Silver is a direct descendent of the mythical Frostfall Queen, Silver Nikola. Help Linnea connect with her roots and step into her role as leader and protector of Vylmark by embarking on a series of new quests – to craft Silver Nikola’s Silver Sword, a sword made from pure frozen silver.”
It doesn’t just end with crafting the weapon though. Once you’ve crafted the sword, you’ll need to complete a series of limited-time quests to level it up from level 1 to 10 and finally reforge it to unlock its ultimate power.
You can then traipse around the Shattered Isles with your shiny new sword in hand to look for Frostfall gifts that contain various items, including Frostfall coins, flares, banners, and other in-game items. You can also take part in snowball and snowfort fights against other players to earn even more Frostfall coins. Frostfall coins earned during the event can be exchanged at the event store for various rewards such as frosty cosmetics and other festive items.
The event store will only be open until January 5th so you better start collecting those coins. Happy hunting!
