Cross Platform MMORPG Mad World Has A Wicked Art Style
Korean developed MMORPG Tree of Savior's aesthetic. Quite pretty. It's developed by Jandisoft, and is touted as a "HTML5 Cross-Platform 2D MMORPG," that means mobile and PC and tablets.
Some of the touted features include:- Classless characters, with skills determined by equipped weapons, and letting players swap weapons and skills on the go.
- Thanks to it being built with HTML5, you wont have to to play on any device.
- Large scale PvP, in various forms including capture the flag.
- An infinite dungeon with a large number of monsters.
- Huge world bosses located at the center of maps, requiring multiple players to conquer.
- Mad World is running on in-house developed Jandisoft Engine, specifically designed for HTML5.
The art style alone was enough to pique my interest, but the aforementioned features are equally attractive if they hold. According to ThisIsGame (not in English), Mad World will launch in the second half of this year—in Korea.
You can head to the Jandisoft website to track the development of Mad World, or try to gleam some more information—if you can read Korean and don't have to use translation tools as I did.
Big thanks to WatchGintama for tipping us off to this one.
