Bless Japan's First Closed Beta Test Begins April 28th
Bless is entering Closed Beta in yet another region and, unfortunately, it isn't North America or Europe. No, the next region to receive the highly anticipated Korean MMORPG is Japan. If you've been following the game, this makes sense, as it is being published via the Japanese Pmang portal, which is Neowiz's own gaming portal. Despite that, it's still a bit depressing to see the progress that the game is making in other regions whilst we hear practically nothing about our own region's version.
The first Japanese Closed Beta will begin on April 28th. It will be region locked and the level cap will be 25 for the duration of the test. The game is being altered to "match Japanese customers," but the exact changes that are being made have yet to be unveiled. Furthermore, there are a few pressing issues with the Closed Beta client, such as the lack of audio other than background music.
In other news, Bless fan site Bless Source is reporting that Aeria Games will be meeting with Neowiz in South Korea soon, presumably to check in on the progress that is being made on the Western client. With any luck, we will hear something about their version shortly after the visit.
