Aeria Games Interview Reveals Nothing New About Bless NA/EU

Our fellow industry media outlet MMOExaminer recently sat down with Aeria Games for an exclusive interview about Aeria Games is committed but they're waiting on Neowiz to make the changes they've requested.

My favorite takeaway from the interview is that Aeria Games claims, "The content of the Western version will be even more advanced than what you can see in the current Korean version!" Really? Doesn't this contradict the previous question where you answered, "the Korean version [of Bless] will be the first to receive updates, a common practice for games developed in Asia." Maybe I'm dimwitted.  

Here's another little comment I do want to highlight. In a discussion about PvP, Aeria Games revealed their assessment of the touted combat changes:

At the moment, the PvP content is already fun and was appreciated by the testers. The actual experience of players during PvP would be something we’d really like to work on, though: from performance optimization to a revamp of the combat system, those changes are subtle but will enhance gameplay as a whole. 

"Subtle" is the key word. Perhaps it wasn't intended to imply that combat changes will be subtle but it certainly reads that way. The notion that changing from a primarily tab-targeting mechanic to an action combat system for Western player is subtle, is almost facetious. 

The biggest problem with Bless, the one that actually matters, is Optimization. Please Aeria Games, if you ever get around to releasing the game as you promise, please, please please Optimize. The RU version can be frame-stuttering, crashing mess depending on your system. Though I've had a relatively smooth time playing other of the mmos.betsandodds.net crew have not been so fortunate.
