Skull And Bones Suffers From The Same Issue As The Launch Version Of The Division

Now that the Skull and Bones open beta test is live, fans have had time to actually dive deep into its pirate-themed game with the only restriction being that you couldn’t advance past Brigand rank. Everything else is fair game. That being said, there’s one annoying detail that’s hampering player progress.

The respawn rates for quest-related items and NPCs are too low to keep up with the demand and players are having to wait several minutes before they appear again. One PCGamesN writer reportedly waited over ten minutes for a certain tree to respawn before finally giving up on it. The respawn time could be longer as they didn’t mention seeing another player when they got there.

The Division also had the same problem when it first launched but it was fixed shortly after the multiplayer shooter’s release. This will likely also be the case for Skull and Bones, if it doesn’t get patched at launch.

In the meantime, the open beta test is now in its final leg with less than a day to go before the servers go offline. Those who pre-ordered the edition of the game will get to jump back in on February 13 while everyone else will have to wait until February 16.
